I believe my front cover to my College Magazine appeals to the audience as it is very bright and has events that appeal to my target audience's age range. I decided to have a male and female model as it doesn't appeal to a male anymore than a female, this helps as it shows this isn't a sexist magazine. The image isn't formal which suggests that the magazine is informal and isn't too serious, a bit of fun with gossip and entertainment. The two models are smiling which connotes happyness and this is a very good way to appeal to my target audience and it shows that my magazine isn't depressive at all. The positioning of the photo worked out very well as it has a big space of nothing and that allowed me to put the cell lines there to attract the target audience.
Whilst doing this college magazine cover i have some gained some Photoshop skills (i.e making new layers, cropping, rotating images, fill effects and more). I believe if i had a better knowledge of Photoshop, then i would've been able to make a much better magazine cover.
